Like someone else said, third party stuff (without comparable games on the other console) I had not even thought further about. On GC I have (and love) Baten Kaitos, MMX:Command Mission, LotR:3rd Age and probably others I am forgetting now. So now we're divided over two cliffs with a burning bridge inbetween, a downed Paladin, an almost down Barbarian, multiple bosses, a dozen grunts, and the Eldritch Knight, Monk and Rogues completely spread out over the battle field. Maturity is more fluid than just an age cut-off. The possibility of having a psychiatrist decide where someone falls when in that age-stretch makes perfect sense to me. Here, the older brother is 21, so no discussion there. The younger brother is 16, so if not for maturity checking, I would think it is at least necessary to characterize his relationship with his older brother. Might be some authority abuse there. If they are found guilty they deserve jail time yes, maybe even some, uhm... (What is the American equivalent of our TBS system?) And that is all I am comfortable saying on the subject, I am a geneticist by schooling, not a lawyer or judge who studied for this. | Nichtcrawler X 07/04/18 1:31:07 PM #1 | So after defeating a group of mercenaries hired by the big bad we were in pursuit of in the underdark, they pointed us in the direction the big bad should show up from. From the direction along a cliff, a caravan showed. A caravan of maybe two dozen Drow, some beasts pulling carts I keep forgetting the names of and of course many of Drow on thestrals. We stay back on our thestrals to observe while the Rogue sneaks in closer to see whether the big bad is there. The Rogue identifies someone as being in a disguise and opens combat. As she falls back the Monk dashes in and starts pummelling Drow on that side of the Bridge the caravan was divided over two sides over. One of their casters cloaks the bridge in Darkness, after which my Eldritch Knights lights a bonfire on one side of the bridge to keep the caravan more effectively split into 2. The Paladin then chugged a fancy potion and spew fire on the bottom of the bridge and flew past it, at this point we had the caravan divided into two and surrounded. We noticed the big bad we were pursuing flying away and then everything started going to shit. As like more of the big enemies from the previous campaign revealed themselves to also be present... The Drow in disguise? A powerful Rogue that was quickly on the Paladin's thestral and eventually downed her. In the cart, that was in the darkness on a burning bridge, was revealed to have contained the Half-Orc Orc Chieftain from before who was quickly locked in combat with our Half-Orc Barbarian. Not to mention we noticed several more individual Drow that were clearly on their level... (Courtesy of the newest expansion book, Xanathar's I think) As many powerful enemies as PCs most likely, and they have an army, we really dun goofed this time... That turned into more text than I was expecting, but I guess next week I will have a truly epic tale. Either that of our downfall, or our greatest triumph. At which point we'd have dealt with one half of the conspiracy and the reason we went into the underdark in the first place... --- Official Teetotaller of PotD Dovie'andi se tovya sagain! |
